A German Requiem
The Royal Orchestral Society return to St John’s Smith Square to perform a programme for Remembrance Day.
The main work is Brahms’ German Requiem, a large scale work, dramatic and beautiful. It includes the famous “How Lovely are thy Dwellings”. We are joined by 2 outstanding soloists and The London Chorus.
The concert starts with Nika Goric singing Berg’s 7 early songs. These rarely performed pieces are from his first period and are delightfully romantic and beautiful.
