Independent Opera are delighted to launch the first of their annual Wigmore Hall Scholars’ Recitals. Supporting the next generation of talent during their final year of training, Independent Opera present this year’s five Voice Scholars as they launch their professional careers. Hailing from Slovenia, Australia, England and Scotland, the Scholars join forces with exciting young pianist James Baillieu.
The IO Voice Scholarship is a £5,000 award which goes directly towards singers’ tuition fees, it also provides the opportunity to perform in the annual recital at the Wigmore Hall and attend mentoring events. To find out more about our awards please click here.
